Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach

The Manly Wharf Bridge to Beach is an offshoot of the former Men’s Health Ocean Racing Series also managed by Pont3. The Bridge to Beach is an 11km Ocean Swim and Paddle from the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Manly Wharf.

In conjunction with legend paddler, Dean Gardner, Pont3 manage the entire event from approvals with Government agencies including Waterways, NSW Maritime, Water Police, North Sydney Council, Manly Council and Manly Wharf the events naming rights sponsor to marketing and operations.

Now considered Australia’s largest ocean paddling event the introduction of the swim in 2006 has seen numbers grow. The objective being to replicate the hugely successful Rottnest Island Swim in WA with teams competing in relay format.

With brand experience activities held by Biotherm, Alpha Magazine, Bavarian Bier Café the event has proven to be an icon for ocean sports and is one of the only mass community events in this category.
